PADI Sidemount Diver

During the PADI Sidemount Specialty you will learn to dive with two side-mounted tanks. This allows us to dive twice as long with twice as much air.

In total you will make 4 dives, including a confined water session where we repeat most of the skills from the Open Water course in sidemount configuration. In sidemount, everything works a little differently.

We’ll teach you about air management and switching regulators while diving and the benefits of sidemount diving versus diving with one (or two) tanks on the back.

What do you need?

• Certification as an Open Water diver or higher (Advanced and Nitrox recommended)
• Minimum age 15 years
• Good physical condition
