Junior Divemaster

Have you discovered at a very young age that diving is more than a hobby for you, and do you want diving to play an even bigger role in your life? Then take the PADI Divemaster course and give yourself an edge over others in your generation.

The PADI Junior Divemaster Course is your first step towards a career in diving – either full-time or as a summer job during your studies. You will work closely with your instructor/mentor who will bring you to the absolute elite of divers in your age group.

Just like the regular divemaster training, the junior divemaster is more of an internship than a training course. You will get to know the dive center from the inside and you will assist our team with courses, guided dives, dive trips, etc. You will participate in the daily business of the dive center and gain valuable experience with sales, equipment maintenance, business communication, and of course diving itself!

You can complete the internship in three to four weeks where you participate in the dive center four or five days a week.

As a PADI junior divemaster, you have a semi-professional qualification at an early age that allows you to assist divemasters and instructors. Moreover, you have already completed part of the regular divemaster training and effectively hold a shortcut to get your final divemaster papers once you’ve turned 18!

What do you need?

• Minimum of 20 logged dives.
• Be at least 15 years old.
• Be in possession of a (Junior) Open Water, (Junior) Advanced and (Junior) Rescue Certification.
• Be fit enough to dive and a medical certificate has been signed by a doctor.
