Emergency Oxygen Provider
Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should you need to. By becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider, you can breathe easy, knowing that you can recognize diving diseases that can be treated with emergency oxygen and that you are willing to provide assistance.
No requirements, age restrictions or water sessions are required for this course – it is open to everyone. Divers, snorkelers and anyone who is near divers – boat crew, rescuers, etc. – will benefit from this training.
You’ll learn about diving injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment, and safety considerations when using oxygen. You practice with the assembly and disassembly of emergency oxygen equipment; the use of different types of oxygen masks on breathable and non-breathable divers.
